Slide #1: Low magnification H&E-stained section showing an unremarkable glomerulus, a small artery (near the bottom) with slight sclerotic changes and focally variable tubular injury and interstitial edema. There is no glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, tubulitis or significant interstitial infiltration by leukocytes. All 9 glomeruli that were available for examination looked like the glomerulus in this photomicrograph.
